Gunn BGMC Helps Fill the Sleigh for Selma PD’s Toys Not Tickets Drive
The holiday season is brighter when neighbors come together to spread joy. Gunn Buick / GMC is proud to support the Selma Police Department’s annual Toys Not Tickets program with boxes full of new toys for children served by the Guadalupe County Women’s Shelter.
How the Program Works
Each year, the Selma Police Department staff collects unwrapped toys from residents and businesses. Blue Santa, the program’s cheerful ambassador, delivers these gifts during traffic stops, citizen contacts, and neighborhood patrols. It is an unexpected moment of kindness that leaves lasting smiles.
About the Guadalupe County Women’s Shelter
The Guadalupe County Women’s Shelter provides safety, advocacy, and support for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. The shelter provides emergency housing, counseling, legal resources, and life skills programs that empower survivors to build new, more stable futures. Many of the children served by the shelter have faced hardship, and the holidays can be a difficult time, these gifts make a huge difference.
